Increase business effectiveness and stay on top of your practice…
while saving you time
About me, the Grounded creator
I spent the first half of my career within the corporate/agency world of advertising. I traded, managed deal books, managed teams, oversaw operations and then moved into tech and implementing tech solutions to make the day jobs easier and quicker. Ultimately the corporate world got me down and I realised that I wasn’t getting much out of my job. It was at that point that I retrained to become a Counsellor.
I trained at the Minster Centre as an Integrative Counsellor for 4 years and then created my own private practice. One of the challenges that I faced, aside from finding clients and the clinical work, when starting my practice was that I had to define my own working patterns, my logs, my trackers and my documents.
I searched the web to find that practically all of the apps are generic ‘healthcare professional’ apps and they don’t easily fit our world of counselling. I then decided to build an app for myself and after a lot of work and help from lots of fellow therapists, I did it, and the Grounded App was created.
The goal of the app
The goal of the Grounded Therapy App was to provide a quick and easy-to-use tool for counsellors and psychotherapists to manage their private practice.
Helping therapists keep track of client information, session logs, financial details like revenue and cash flow, and comply with all necessary auditing requirements while keeping their data secure and accessible.
The app is designed to save time, increase business effectiveness, and help therapists stay on top of their practice and livelihood.
