This privacy policy outlines how Grounded collects, uses, and protects the personal data of clients who use the app to manage running a counselling service. We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all other relevant privacy laws.

Grounded collects personal data from users and clients in order to provide counselling services. This may include information such as name, contact information, and session notes.

The legal basis for processing client data is to fulfil the terms of the contract between the client and the counsellor. In some cases, clients may provide their explicit consent for their data to be processed.

Grounded takes the security of client data very seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that client data is protected against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Data Retention
Client data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. After this time, the data will be securely deleted.
Client Rights
Clients have the right to request access to their personal data, request correction or deletion, and object to the processing of their data. If a client wishes to exercise any of these rights, they may do so by contacting the Grounded Data Protection Officer (DPO).
Data Sharing and Transfer
Grounded does not share client data with any third parties unless required by law or to fulfil the terms of the contract between the client and the counsellor.
